Meet Dr.Koskinen

I am a board-certified psychiatrist providing telepsychiatry services to residents of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area. I offer insight-oriented long-term therapy, solution-focused short-term therapy, and medication management when indicated, all tailored to meet your individual needs. 

In my work, I focus on what matters most to you in each moment. I prioritize listening closely and understanding your experiences within the broader context of your relationships, history, goals and values. 

Through open and supportive dialogue, I believe we can better understand our experiences and create space for growth, healing, and relief from emotional suffering.

I have worked and trained in Sweden, Finland, and the United States, alongside involvement in community projects in Asian countries. I serve patients in English, Finnish, Swedish and French. I welcome you to learn more about my approach and background on my webpage.
